Hi guys welcome welcome back to my Channel today’s video is a little Different Something that i was not planning to Film at all Until i ride my door and i was just like You know what this is actually Really really strange i have just gotten The emma mattress And this mattress comes in a box i don’t Know if you’re used to Going to a mattress shop trying them all On which one’s soft it was not I wasn’t able to do that because Chronovirus you know and also the Mattresses are like online only Today i’m just going to do a bit of an Unboxing basically what you can expect The emma mattress Essentially comes rolled up and Delivered in a box bought it delivered Within two days that’s absolutely Amazing Go straight on to the unboxing and this Is how The package was delivered it says don’t Worry sleep happy on the side which is Actually Quite nice i think the mattress weighs 31 kilograms that’s for the king size Mattress it’s something to bear in mind Just to show you what i’m taking apart My other bed this is what i’m currently Sleeping on
And that is a normal mattress i believe This one’s just from ikea And a memory foam topper because i do Like to have a soft bed so That’s what i’m gonna be testing out With the emma mattress is is it actually Soft as it is a Foam based mattress there are no springs In the ammo mattress I am expecting good things from it the Only issues That there could be is that it could be Too hot i do find that with a lot of the Memory foam mattresses is that they can Get too hot but i believe the emma Mattress Has a bit of a cooling layer and they’ve Gone through some more technology Testing to Make it the best like temperature Regulating Bed i mean we’ll see [Music] [Applause] All right sleep on a true original so Yeah this is The original emma mattress by the way Sweet dreams are freed with this Quite a handy little tool i know i Actually have a dog and I think this is gonna be great for Getting her mats up her hair Okay maybe we should read the Instructions this is what the emma
Mattress should look like on the inside So you have a layer of foam Then you have the gel layer which is the Blue one at the top And that’s what’s going to keep you cool Then you have another one in the middle Which Is taking the pressure off so that’s Going to give you pressure when you’re Sleeping And making more comfortable [Music] So instructions say to roll out your Mattress and then carefully Take away the plastic using this Obviously careful not to cut the Mattress just give you a bit of a Close-up you can see this already Started inflating a little bit You can hear it like over here but that Is Really thin you can see it’s not that Thick at the moment that’s how Tightly rolled it is and how much air is Being compressed out of it i know that It’s going to be about 25 centimeters Once it is fully laid out and All the air has been put back into it [Music] All of the plastic has been taken off of The mattress And i believe we’re just waiting for it To inflate Uh how long that’s gonna take i have no
Idea But to give you a look what it looks Like So far it says even says emma on the Side There’s a bad here and what’s actually a Really great feature with the mattresses Is that there is a zip So that you can take off the whole outer Layer and you can Wash it which is a great feature Filling the top of mattress it feels Really really soft it’s really nice to Touch And i have a feeling it’s going to be a Really comfy bed obviously i have no Idea what it’s actually like to lay on This bed Because this is an online shop and During the lockdown and chronovirus i Haven’t even been able to like go to bed Shops so i haven’t even tried any Similar beds While we’re just waiting for the bed to Basically Adjust itself and get full of air again So we can actually like test how comfy It is I’m just going to go through some of the Things it says on the lister about Why choose an emma mattress basically Says that the dark gray side here Is great for air circulation the top Layer is made up of
Special climate control fibers which Regulate humidity the gel layer is Actually made of an aero gel which i Think Is some new technology for maintaining a Cool temperature and just to prevent the Mattress from getting too hot because No one wants to be waking up in a pool Of sweat i can tell you that what i will Say Is it’s true though This mattress does a smell i’ve read all The comments everywhere And the reviews are saying that there is This chemical smell And i’m it does smell like i’m in some Sort of like chemical factory i’ve got My door open and it’s literally winter I’m hoping the smell’s gonna go away but That is something that i knew was gonna Come And it is stinky Pulling back the zip and just to expose What’s inside the emma mattress You can see the different layers here so This is the Foam layer then we have the gel layer Well It’s going to be a gel foam layer it Definitely feels like foam to me But it’s blue i would say that it’s kind Of cooling to touch though which is Quite nice it’s slightly cooling i’d say About like 10
Cooling five percent cooling and then You can see there’s a middle layer here In between the two that is meant to give You the support that’s the support layer But you can see it’s quite compact so it Hasn’t fully expanded yet I just thought this would be quite cool To show you what’s actually inside of The emma mattress And i believe these grooves here are for Extra comfort as well Not sure how deep they go i think they Might go all the way through to the Other side of the bed i’m not gonna play Around too much but That is what i think happens there this Is the micro Fiber cover [Music] There we have it guys that is the Unboxing of the emma original mattress And So far so good but like i said i haven’t Exactly slept on it yet But i have high hopes for this i know That using the emma mattress website They are giving a 200-day Sort of trial period so within the 200 Days you can return it and from the Reviews that i’ve read They’re so good at taking back their Return and no hassle at all they’ll just Come to your Door pick them up and give you a refund
